I can't believe that it has been over a year since our last post. Time sure flies quickly by! We have now been married a little over a year - holy cow! We are continually realizing just how much the Lord has blessed us; it is easy to overlook all of the little things that He places in our pathway that are incredible displays of His love and grace. Marriage is so humbling and such a gift from God. We have been given the incredible opportunity to go to the Czech Republic with a team of short term missionaries from Grace Baptist Church. The dates of the trip are:
July 7-July 24. We would be grateful for your prayers as we prepare to leave and while we are there. We will try to update this blog as we prepare to leave and also while we are in the Czech Republic.

dreamin...
I seriously CANNOT believe that I get to marry the one and only Justin Klopfenstein in a mere 31 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited, I can barely stand it! I must be dreaming! It still doesn't feel like it's actually going to happen, but it REALLY is - PTL.
We finally got the wedding invitations out on Saturday, which was a huge relief, I didn't realize what a big undertaking they would be. Also this past weekend Justin moved into the apartment that will be our first one together, once we get hitched. The apartment building is comprised mostly of people ages 55+ which will be fun. Our good friends (Shay and Bethany) live two doors down from us and Justin's cousin Mike and his wife Chrissy will be living there as well - we are going to have a blast! Things are coming along with wedding plans, although there are lots of details to get ironed out before the BIG day.
I have been realizing how important it is to just trust the Lord through all of this (and in every other aspect of life) because He alone is in control. By God's amazing grace, beginning June 1st, I will get to walk through life with Justin, we will get to be a team! Our lives aren't about us but rather they are about bringing honor and glory to the Lord in all that we do and say. I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with Justin; the man who is far greater than I could have possibly dreamed.

double digits..
We broke the 100 day mark. Only 98 days left until our wedding! We are down to double digits. I am more eager than a kid awaiting Christmas, a birthday, a vacation, etc. My eagerness is due to the fact that I, Justin Klopfenstein, get to marry a wonderful woman, Kimberly Buchan (soon to be Klopfenstein). She is a blessing. I love her...I LOVE KIMBERLY! Enough said.

We Can't Wait...
Well...I said yes - of course!!!!! First of all, I was totally not expecting Justin to propose (for the entire story check our website, it should be there soon)! When Justin asked me to marry him I could hardly squeak out "YES" because I started crying right away. I cannot even begin to describe to you how excited I am to spend the rest of my life with him, and to one day soon call him my husband. Like every other girl, I have dreamt about the man I would marry since childhood - yet Justin is far greater than I could have imagined. God gave me an indescribably wonderful gift when He brought Justin into my life. I am still overwhelmed and amazed at all that Justin did for me the day that he proposed, he spent so much time planning every little detail! Throughout the entire day I felt like a Princess, and my Prince even had a white horse to boot :).
Justin and I cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together, and right now June 1st seems incredibly far away! Just like Justin said, we are beginning a new journey and are so excited to see what the Lord will do throughout our life together. I have been continually amazed by what the Lord has done in our lives thus far and it is so awesome to know that He holds the rest of our lives in His hands. These past few weeks have been like living in a dream, the kind that you hope you never wake up from - and guess what I don't have too because I get to marry Justin!!!!!!!!!! We can't wait for the day when we get to call each other husband and wife, we have decided that we like those words much better than fiance ;).

The ring which Justin designed for me and had
for about 3 1/2 months prior to proposing.

The horseback ride that Justin surprised me with that day. Justin is on Spirit and I'm on Frank. In the background is the coast of Santa Barbara.

A New Journey
Tonight (if she says yes...which I think she will) Kimberly and I are setting out on a new and exciting journey...together! We have patiently, yet anxiously (especially the expectant and hopeful Kimberly--who has been patient to say the least) awaited this day for 2 years now. And, by God's grace, here we are! We don't know exactly what the future holds for us, but now we do know that it holds us being together and the faithful God who has gotten us this far. We are excited, not to begin a journey, but to continue a journey that we have been trekking on our own and now expectantly and joyously get to walk together as "heirs of grace." We are thankful to each and every person who has been part of our lives to this point and are excited to have you a part of our lives as we join to become one. I continue to be amazed with the precious gift that the Lord has given me in Kimberly and can't begin to express how excited I am for the day (which is coming very soon!) when I can call her my wife.
